Omelettes across America should be my book title. This was a great veggie omelette platter from an extensive breakfast menu. It was served with a bagel, seemingly microwaved garnering a slightly tough texture along with a very nice fruit cup including sliced banana, blackberry, blueberries. The coffee was excellent with a shot and the server went to the trouble to steam some cream for my tall Lavazza Red Eye. The overall menu is extensive and includes specialty crepes.
Food and drinks are both fantastic. Rendezvous juice drink is super, not too sweet. Broccoli soup was very good, Mediterranean cheesy crepe with chicken and mixed berry salads were excellent. Coffee was very good, but the desserts made by Anthony were just wonderful. Tiramisu was the best I’ve ever had. My only problem was TV channel. I don’t think watching people wreck, fall, or otherwise injure themselves is appetizing.
Unquestionably, the best coffee shop in the area! I’m so thankful that finally, I was able to find this spot for some good coffee just in time. The atmosphere inside this coffee shop was very vibrant and relaxing. I will definitely rate them a five-star for everything that they provided. Truly amazing! Thank you so much, guys! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with comfortable seating and plenty of natural light. The barista was so friendly and pleasant to talk and he took the time to explain the different coffee options and make recommendations based on my preferences. I ordered a latte and was impressed by the quality of the coffee and the latte art skill of the barista. The latte was perfectly balanced and had a rich, creamy texture. I also tried one of their cream cheese danish pastries, which was fresh and delicious. Overall, I highly recommend rendezvous cafe to anyone looking for a great cup of coffee and a relaxing atmosphere. The staff is knowledgeable and passionate about their craft, and the quality of the coffee and food is top-notch. I will definitely be returning!
This was our go-to spot during our stay in Abingdon due to the variety in their menu and steady/longer business hours. They have vegan options with dairy substitutes like almond and oat along with food options such as the power bowl, smoothies, and teas. I had the Pineapple,Mango and Orange Smoothie and my partner had the crepe, milkshake, and ice cream and loved them all!
The breakfast Crepe was fantastic! My son had a Bacon, Egg, and Cheese croissant with a strawberry & Banana smoothie; and as much as he enjoyed it it was just too much for a single meal. My wife enjoyed a bagels with tomato soup. We both really enjoyed the Lavazza coffee.
Love this place!! It’s such a hot spot for downtown Abingdon and the cultural diversity is refreshing! There is a lot of the menu from rolled ice cream to Greek coffee to little sandwiches, so you will always leave with a full belly or something in your hand! There is generous seating and the staff is wonderful. We were in and out in maybe 10 minutes with a fresh juice and 2 Greek coffees!
I get a coffee from here it feels like weekly and it’s always a 10/10. I recommend the iced/hot Spanish latte! The Nutella crepe with the bananas is probably one of the best crepes I’ve ever had.
Had a great experience at Rendezvous International Cafe! I ordered the Caramel Frappe with an extra shot—sweet, smooth, and just the right caffeine kick. The Greek omelet was flavorful, and the Lemon Blueberry Compote with white chocolate mousse was a perfect sweet finish. My brother had a crepe and the oatmeal with apples, and both were a hit. The cafe itself is cozy with a warm, welcoming vibe. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and they offer a nice selection of gluten-free options too. Great coffee, great food, and great people. Definitely worth a visit!
